On Thursday 16th September 2021 a group of around 20 indigenous children from Pine Creek attended a Swimming Clinic at the Katherine Swimming pool. Coaching was provided by Thomas Noblett (Swimming NT) as part of the Swimming NT Social Inclusion Program which is promoting healthy and active lifestyles through swimming.
All children participated in a tailored learn to swim program and went home with some swimming bags and goodies.
Thank you to Delia and Shane from Kirkland Lake Gold for driving the children to and from Katherine.
The day was a great success and Swimming NT would like to thank Kirkland Lake Gold who sponsored the day.
