Swimming Northern Territory is proud to have Tia Hutton, from the Darwin Swimming Club as Meet Ambassador.
Tia started her swimming journey at the age of 8 years, her passion for swimming is well supported by her family and community.
Her drive to achieve higher honours in swimming lead her move from Nhulunbuy to attend a Darwin boarding school.
Tia has been identified at an early age as a role model within her community. Her personality, work ethic and discipline are an example to all and makes her the perfect role model.
Tia is a top achiever in sport and academics.
One of Tia’s favourite hobbies is fishing, which is unique to the lifestyle of living in remote Nhulunbuy.
Tia has been selected in the elite swimming program overseen by Charles Darwin University.
