Please check the Start List carefully and advise Swimming Northern Territory by 11.59pm Thursday 29th Sept 2024 if your entry is in error.
Competition Numbers:
All start Lists contain the Competitor Numbers for the Event.
Swimming NT will number athletes on the morning of the event.
However, any athletes who would like to Self Number prior to Saturday mornings event may do so by marking their Competition number on their right Upper Arm and both Shoulder (Scapula ) blades. This should be done in thick permanent marker to ensure that the number does not wash off whilst swimming.
Please just make sure that you still check in at the desk.
Numbers on the right upper arm must run down the arm as pictured (and yes we understand this is a left arm! 😉)
The numbers on the shoulder blades should be parallel to each other as pictured below.
See you all on Saturday Morning!
Saturday morning saw 71 swimmers competing at the Darwin Waterfront Classic.
Congratulations to the 9 swimmers who swam 400 meters and experienced a full water start for the first time in their event.
We hope you all enjoyed giving the Open Water a go.
