Swim Central - The New Online System
Underpinned by a significant investment by Optus, work began in July of 2017 to specify a new technology solution – Swim Central. Swim Central is being developed by Swimming for Swimming with input from key stakeholders from across the country.
Swim Central will replace ClubLane and MyLane.
Swim Central is due to roll out in the NT during August 2019. Instructions will be sent out to all Members and all clubs will have access to training aids.
During the transition period from ClubLane to Swim Central our new members will need to fill in a manual membership form. This will ensure that your covered by our insurance. If new members wish to enter into our Short Course Championships they will also be required to fill out a manual entry form.
All swimmers will receive a confirmation email during the week of 29 July. If you do not receive this, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org

Optus Club of the Year 2019
The Swimming Australia Optus Club of the Year aims to recognise and reward swimming clubs that are demonstrating a commitment and passion to positively change lives through Swimming. The 2019 Optus Club of the Year will recognise swimming club development and achievements between 1 July 2018 and 30 June 2019.
If your club is nominated as a finalist or is lucky enough to win this award you may be eligible to receive lots of great prizes including prize money, an athlete appearance and the development of your very own club promotional video.
The winner will be announced at the 2019 Hancock Prospecting Australian Short Course Championships in October. Information regarding 2019 nominations will be posted here when available.

- Club Development Resource Library
The Club Development Resource Library is a free web-based program that supports the development and management capacity of sporting clubs.
The library aims to assist clubs across Australia, in identifying ways in which each club may develop, in order to provide the best possible service to its members. The library is based on the principle of promoting continuous improvement.

For withdrawals (scratchings) from general events. Form to be submitted by Team Manager only (not swimmers or parents) to operations booth no later than 20 minutes before the scheduled start of the session
For withdrawal from finals at meets held with a heats/finals format. Form must be submitted by Team Manager only (not swimmers or parents) to the operations booth within 30 minutes of the posting of the heats results. Failure to marshall for a final where the swimmer has not officially withdrawn will result in the swimmer being excluded from their next event (this includes reserve finalists)
For changes to the published (in meet program) order or names of swimmers competing in relays. Note individual meet regulations for stipulation on when forms must be submitted. Duplicate form provided - Team Manager to submit one copy to the operations booth within the required timeframe and the other is to be taken with the relay team to the marshalling area
