To All Clubs and Swimming members,

The Sharks would like to invite members of all clubs to attend a special movie screening with the Sharks Swimming Club at the deck Chair Cinema.

WhatJumanji: Welcome to the Jungle

Where: Deck Chair Cinema

When: Sunday 22nd July -

            Movie starting at 7:30 pm

Gates and box office open 6.00 pm

For those who have not seen the latest instalment of the Jumanji movie franchise, this is a brief description of the movie.

When four high-school kids discover an old video game console with a game they've never heard of--Jumanji--they are immediately drawn into the game's jungle setting, literally becoming the avatars they chose: gamer Spencer becomes a brawny adventurer (Dwayne Johnson); football jock Fridge loses (in his words) "the top two feet of his body" and becomes an Einstein (Kevin Hart); popular girl Bethany becomes a middle-aged male professor (Jack Black); and wallflower Martha becomes a badass warrior (Karen Gillan). What they discover is that you don't just play Jumanji--you must survive it. To beat the game and return to the real world, they'll have to go on the most dangerous adventure of their lives, discover what Alan Parrish left 20 years ago, and change the way they think about themselves--or they'll be stuck in the game forever...” IMDb rated this a 7/10 and a 76% rating on Rotten Tomatoes or an 88% audience score, this is a very funny movie that the whole family will enjoy.

This will be a great opportunity for all swimmers and their families to catch up with each other socially outside of swimming competitions and help our club raise some funds.  I would like to personally invite everyone involved in swimming in the Northern Territory to attend and have some fun sharing a social event with the Sharks.

The Sharks will be providing dinner and some cakes/slices on the night for all to enjoy. Other snacks / drinks and alcohol can be purchased from the deckchair cinema if people wish.

Tickets are available from the club or can be purchased directly from the cinema at the following link

If you would like to purchase tickets from the club please contact info@palmerstonsharks.com.au

We hope you can all come and look forward to catching up with everyone at the movies!

Cheers
